A supper club for Anglophiles and Francophiles in LONDON

With so much political and economic uncertainty it seems even more important at this time that Anglophiles and Francophiles should strengthen their links. The London branch of the Paris based Demi Siècle runs a supper club which has this objective at the heart of its programme. It has been running for many years providing stimulating discussions over good food and wine.

Demi Siècle grew out of a desire in 1948 that business and academic leaders should engage in more debate and discussion across European borders to gain a better understanding of each other’s views. Since then, groups have become established in several cities in France, in Brussels, Stockholm and London. We are regularly invited to events arranged by the Paris group.

In London, Demi Siècle has become an established supper club for French people living and working here, who enjoy discussing current topics with Londoners who have worked in France or have homes there.
